These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Get This (iOS) and the website at getthistoday.co.uk. By downloading, accessing, or using the app or site, you agree to these Terms.
What Get This is
Get This is a shopping list utility. You can add items manually, via Siri or Shortcuts, and — when you choose — receive ingredients from Cook This Tonight, a separate app from the same operator. Your list is stored on your device in the current build. Get This is standalone: you do not need Cook This Tonight to use it, and you do not need Get This to use Cook This Tonight.
Independent status
Get This is independent software operated by Prod.AI LTD. Mentions of Cook This Tonight describe an optional handoff between sibling apps — not a required bundle, joint subscription, or endorsement by any retailer.
Licence to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial shopping, subject to these Terms and the rules of the App Store from which you downloaded it.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
- Only add or import content you have the right to use for your personal shopping purposes.
Content and accuracy
List items come from what you type, say to Siri, or import. Quantities and ingredients from recipes may be incomplete. Always check allergens and what you actually need when shopping.
Purchases
The current version of Get This does not sell in-app purchases. If paid features are added later, prices will be shown in the store before you buy, and those purchases will be subject to Apple’s store terms.
Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you also acknowledge that policy.
Intellectual property
The Get This name, logo, and app design are our intellectual property (or used under licence). Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only for factual identification where needed.
Disclaimer
The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
